How Our Program Works
Product Fundraising can be hard work. The old way works something like this...
First, you need volunteers to manage the whole process.
Then you need to pass out brochures and order forms to your members to directly solicit donations from friends and relatives.
Then you need to collect the money, tally the orders, pay the fundraising company who supplies the products, receive the products from the freight company, check for damages and missing items, deal with claims and shortages, put each individual order into bags and have your members deliver the bags back out to the donors who bought the products.
Obviously, this creates a lot of work for your volunteers to manage.
At Genesis Fundraising, we have a new way to help you raise money where we do all the work for you.
First our program is Internet-based. Interested donors simply go to our product selection website, www.myonlinedonation.com, designate your organization and select the products they wish to purchase for your benefit. You can also create a personalized greeting to thank donors as they are making their selections
Then, we process their payment through our secured internet vendor – PayPal – and ship the products directly to their homes.
This way your volunteers never have to handle the products, the information, or the money created with each order.
Most importantly, Genesis Fundraising provides you with a Password Protected Account that updates your donation sales in real time. This powerful tool puts you in total control of your fundraising status. Our website provides you with a demonstration of how this process works.
All you have to do is market our donation website to your members and interested donors each month. We do the rest.
To help you, Genesis provides you with a Marketing How-To kit that you will find on this website. This kit is constantly updated as organizations around the country improve how they inform their members of our monthly fundraising program.
Also, as part of our ongoing program, Genesis also provides past donors to your organization a monthly reminder email thanking them for their past donation asking them if they wish to continue donating to your organization this month.
Finally, our program includes a monthly incentive program we call the Genesis Difference.
Once we help you raise money each month, Genesis provides your organization with a second way to potentially have more money donated to your organization.
Genesis randomly donates up to $25,000.00 to a minimum of ten (10) qualified organizations within each Genesis designated Donation Zone each and every month.
Imagine if your organization sold one hundred (100) orders of coffee, for instance, within a calendar month and then was randomly selected for a separate Genesis donation of up to $25,000.00 the following month.
